Grain Handler I

Job Summary:

General Mills is seeking motivated individuals for General Labor positions at our Minneapolis, MN manufacturing facility. As part of our manufacturing team, you will support production, packaging, sanitation, equipment changeovers, and operational start-up and shutdowns. This is a hands-on role in a unionized environment with competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain production, packaging, and processing equipment
• Participate in start-up, changeover, and shutdown procedures
• Perform sanitation and housekeeping tasks to meet GMP standards
• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely
• Conduct railcar operations (openers, hoppers, lids, etc.)
• Perform basic maintenance, such as lubrication and belt changes
• Execute HACCP and quality processes with accurate documentation
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
• Assist in training new employees
